I’ve been using the Bikila’s for a few weeks, and love them… They have just enough cushion to make road running that much more enjoyable…My only complaint about the shoe [is] quality control needs to be addressed on Vibram’s part. I have acquired three pairs of Bikila’s, all three are defective in some way, shape, or form…Seems like demand on these puppies are so high that Vibram is making them quickly, but with error…Overall, these shoes are all that. I own 3 pairs of VFF. The bikilas are by far the best for running in…I’ve used them on trails and the road. Love them… [An] issue is that they are great for running, but not much else. If you want a VFF for everything get the KSO. If you want one just for running the Bikila is the best choice. ~Jeryd

Bottom line—if you are a runner, you must buy these shoes. If you are not, buy them and you may become a runner. ~Benkoala

The shoes themselves are very comfortable. It takes a little time to slot your feet in and sometimes my little toe gets stuck, a bit annoying but nothing major. It’s true that over rocky/uneven ground you can feel it, again it’s not an issue. I am very happy with my Vibram’s and would definitely buy again once I wear these out. ~J. Clayton

I have the world’s flattest feet and I could never seem to find a pair of comfortable shoes… until now. The Bikila’s are seriously the best shoes that I have ever worn. Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve when you first start, but they are fantastic after that. I’m pretty sure that I’m going to be a customer for life. ~BornAgainRunner
